I highly doubt you NEED XP pro. But if you really do NEED to upgrade, you have to buy XP pro.

The only practical reason to upgrade is if you are upgrading to a dual core processor.

What is the difference between(window xp home edition recory disk) and a (window xp installation program disk)? I am trying to fixe my computer and put it to the original format from the first day I bought it. But I keep getting advice from people and told me two different things to use. Which of those 2 things that I should use?
