Will the pure asp delete/update functions work on an image folder above the wwwroot folder?

To get it to path properly I have to give an absolute path. Uploading an images works fine. But I get errors when trying to delete or update it.

All permissions have been set such as write.

the delete and update do not support images above the wwwroot.
So you should place the files currently in wwwroot and below.
