I have an insert page that is not working, I have followed the tutorial elsewhere on the site and the demo page works fine that came with it. But When I submit my form, it just blinks and presents me with the same page again, nothing is added to the DB, nor are any files uploaded. I have done the following checks:

made sure i have write permissions on directory I am uploading to
redirect page "welcome.asp" is set in the insert record behavior and not in AspUpload dialog
created a recordset with all tables in DB -- just in case there was an issue there
binded all form fields including filename field to respective DB tables in Insert Record Behavior dialog box


I have several other SB's and regular Behaviors on this page but have removed them all for testing purposes. These are:


Restrict access to page
logout User
Check Form (by Yuromat?)
Preload images on Load

AAAARRRGGHHH!! So, it is 3.5 hours of labor later and I stilll do not know why this page is doing what it is doing - but I may know what is causing it.
An interesting development:
The only way I can get the upload/insert to work is by using the file that is included with the tutorial located elsewhere on this site, if I create an exact replica of the file using Dreamweaver 4 and ASP upload 2.9, it gives me the same error(page blinks, clears itself and nothing happens)
So I ran a file difference analyzer, and there are some differences! It is over my head why they are different - but I replaced all of the differences from the tutorial upload file into my newly created (but not working) file and VOILA! it works! Why is my version of ASP Upload broken??? And how do I fix it? I have versions of both of these files for any developers of ASP Upload that would like to take a peek in hopes of solving my dilemma. My next task will be the laborious task of going through my old Add to database file and replace all of the new ASPupload lines with the old ones. If anybody wants to reply to these really soon I would really appreciate it!!!!!!!

Well, I replaced all of the important text on my page with that of the tutorial and the upload page works now... sort of... the progress bar does not popup -- I have tried with and without form validation. Also, I have a little exclamation point next to the ASP UPload 2.09 SB, but it does not give me an error. I also am using the Delete Before Record and it is not working properly either, it is in another post under the Bugs heading. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
