I would be interested to know how many KB the code adds to a page, yes everything looks great from my end as I have a fast connection but what about the person using a 56k modem every bite counts.Regards

Layer Genie adds about 15Kb to a page, but the scripts are in an external JS file which means they only need to be loaded once and are then cached on the client computer.

The latest version of Layer Genie only writes the required functions to the external JS file, so the 'load weight' varies greatly with the Layer Genie options you choose to use on your pages.
<i>Example:</i>
When building a multi-level flyout menu system, without any special 'show effects', Layer Genie now adds no more than about 8Kb to the site.
That includes anchoring (sub)menus to their trigger/parent so they are always positioned right.
Adding special effects will add to that 8Kb to a maximum of about 16Kb.
