hey guys,

This is very simple. I have a simple upload picture field on a page. The user uploads a pic, it is inserted into a folder, the user is taken to a "thank-you" page. Locally, it works wonderfully!

On the remote server however, I get this error page when I click the submit button:

An error has occured saving uploaded file!

Filename: /images/seal.jpg
Maybe the destination directory does not exist, or you don't have write permission.
Please correct and try again


What's going on? I shouldn't have to change any permissions on the folder once it's on the server, I don't even think this is possible! I know the "images" folder exists because I see it right there! Plus it works locally.

What am I doing wrong? It's a bit of an emerg, I have to get this figured out asap!

I figured it out. There is a way to enable write permission to the folder on my server.

I panicked a little bit, everything is cool now <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
