Is there a variable I can read to get or set the thumb position? I wouldlike to keep it synchronized with new layer positions achieved by clicking links that also position the layer.
Thanks,

Hi Jim,
I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand your question.
I assume you're refering to the draggable thumb of the Scroller Genie scrollbar?
If so, then use the Scroller Genie behaviors to position the content layers together with the draggable thumb. These behaviors are built to do just that. You can use the (new) behavior "Scroll to position" for that purpose.
Hope this helps.

For example:
If I put a button on the page that says "click to go to middle of text". When I click, I use a function to reposition the layer to the middle of it's content. I would like to move the thumb to the middle of the scroll bar so as to appear syncronized with the new layer position.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi again Jim,
As I already said, you can use the new "Scroll to Position" behavior to accomplish that.
Isn't that working for you?
