Have resolved Scroller Genie's initial "displaying/loading offset" issue.. as described in Anchored scroller offset on page load. Good info thanks!

However, after appplying the onload show/hide layers instruction to both SG 1 & SG 2, (as I have 2 scrollers on the same page), on preview, much of my text information is missing at the bottom of the scroller. It won't scroll right down to the end of the text.

Also, if you then click on the conact button at the bottom of page, the page loads as expected, but if u click the back arrow on the browser window in IE 6, the scrollers are offset to the right when the page reloads. Have to refresh to correct it.
Please advise.

Did you manually manipulate the CSS definitions of the scrollers? Because the dimensions of the composing DIV elements are out of sync now, causing the "disappearance" of some of your content.
Eg. the DIV with ID dmx1Scroller has a height setting of only 148px, while the contained DIV with ID dmx1Container has a height setting of 295px. Therefor dmz1Container doesn't fit within dmx1Scroller, which causes its content to be partly hidden.

I see what you mean and it is an IE only problem. It seems to me this is a browser bug. Scroller Genie has no influence on the Back button mechanism. Since the page is already loaded in that situation, Scroller Genie's positioning mechanism is not triggered anymore.

Hi MarajR,
Thanks for the reply, no I don;t think I did manually edit CSS, but then I'm don't really know wot I'm doing most of the time anyway!

I've put a back button on the contact page, which has the absolute url to the index page, as a temporary work around. Hope they use it.

Thanks for your help.
Great Extension by the way!!!<img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think the easiest solution now is to recreate the scrollers.

I have just corrected size errors, and it seems fine now, apart from the offset issue on hitting the back button in the browser.

Are you suggesting that recreating the scrollers might resolve this issue?

Thanks, Ralph.

No, I thought that maybe recreating the scrollers would be easier for you than correcting the size problem manually.

Oh I see.
It's nice and sorted now thanks.
I know this is a bit offline but do you know the code for not showing the hand cursor when hovering over a swap image file, as in the Why Rental button. Can't find it anywhere. Searched for 2 days now!
