Hi!. I'm beginner in web development.
I'd like to ask you if the flashVideo (.flv) files can be opened without some kind of complicated plugins.
I'va to put some short videos in a webpage, and I need the users to watch it, without they need to download it. Can somebody help me?

Thanks for your answer.

FLV video format, all they need is to have the Flash Player installed, which to-date is the easiest and most popular plugin globally. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

FLV cannot be directly added to a web page, it must be linked or embedded to a SWF file which can be viewable on web browser with Adobe Flash Player.
A lot of programs can play FLV files, like VLC media player, you can check this article - Softwares, programs that can play FLV (Flash video)
To add FLV to web pages in a much easier way, you can check this tutorial - How to add flash videos to website?
