wierd sounding topic i know but here goes:

i have a header div with a background image, using a modified cersion of the complexspiral css demo code.www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/complexspiral/demo.html

way i've altered it is, i'm using it in a centered header, but.... and here is where my problem starts.

i have my header div, and then underneath a menu div, these both share a version of the background graphic which creates a transparent effect.

now, i want to have a random images script to randomise my header, but how can i make it select the same image version so it correctly fills in the menu div also???

this is what i mean by image versions, i have:

space_main_bk.jpg (main glossy image)
space_under_bk.jpg (washed or darkened image) for menu div

so how can i make sure both space img's are replaced by 2 forest img's for example??

any thoughts anyone?? i was viewing a site that had this exact feature less that a week ago, but have since cleared my history and can't find it. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>

You using any Sever-Side code? If so, which one?

Will the images just be a set you hardcode, or from a DB?
