I got a PC from a client, a Shuttle (tiny), and have been toying with it by turning it into a TiVo-ish box. I've been trying to get MythTV (www.mythtv.org) on it, using a Linux distribution based off Knoppix called KnoppMyth (500MB ISO, easy to burn and has almost all I need on it). I signed up for some XML cable listing service (free), so it'll let my box download 13 days worth of channel listings for my Zipcode, and it has a weather module that looks great, rips audio CD's to MP3, and rips DVD's to Divx/MPG4. Nice UI, and has themes. Can't wait to get it running perfectly.I wanted to know if anyone here has toyed with the same or similar apps, like Freevo, etc.

Oh, that's dope!!! I only got past half way of setting up my HomePVR, but don't have a capture card yet so can't really play with it. I'll be getting a TV-card within a month or so, I can feeeeeelll it.
