Since I'm not getting ANY support in the specific forum, I'm posting the problem here and hope to get at least a feedback that someone from the support team reads it at all.

I'm using asp/js and aspmail. Trying to send mails out of a recordset, I'm getting the following error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'objMail.EncodeHeader'

/ScriptLibrary/incSmartMailer.asp, line 915

I'm selecting the mailinglist before sending it. I've got a test and a productional list. Sending the test list everything goes fine bu the other list can't be sent. Filtering with foirm variable works for both lists.

I found the following information on the internet:

"One of the most frequent reasons for this is incompatible VBS types. This often occurs when passing parameters to object methods."

I'm using Access. Could the problem be the mailadresses themself or/and that I'm using a text field to hold the data? I do also use the Name of the member that is empty for some records. Could that be the problem?? I'm also using global.asa. Could there be a conflict with ASPMail?

Second problem:

I've got a mailinglist select page and a submit page. I'd like to send the newsletter from the submit page in order to show the number of mails actually beeing sent (at least I see when the application crashes and how many mails have been sent).

If I selelect the mailinglist and send the info to the sending page the newsletter will be sent automaticly without beeing able to send it manually.

Thanks for at least a sign of life of anyone of the support team at all...
