What will happen with the certifications ?

I have acquired my certification in Dreamweaver MX 2004 this year and what will happen with it ? Is it no more valid ? Is it going to dissapear ?

Well, you're guaranteed that your cert will last you until MX2006, which is later this year. Since there will be new cert's for the MX2006 line.
Then after 2005, your cert's <i>probably</i> will be valid, until Adobe announces that your year of certificates is dormant.
Adobe offers certificates just like Macromedia, so I doubt they will dissapear. Actually, I don't ever remember Adobe offering a GoLive cert, so it sounds like the DW certified will take that spot when the merger is done.

I wouldn't say that's true. In fact you'll still have MM's logos, info, data, and be in their database. Adobe keeps a similar database of Photoshop certified. So I wouldn't put it too far to see them roll over.
I'm going to still take mine for at least DMX2004, and possibly Flash MX2004 Developer & Designer. I still see value in them, we wont hear much till the end of the year on the merger anyway. Internally, clients (marketing/design, etc.) if you're doing a site for them, they don't care if you use Notepad (ugh), and my Macromedia software wont spoil for another couple years easy. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
