Hello good pple of the forum, now i created a graphic in fireworks and change the color of the canvas background to assume a transparent mode. But i inserted my graphic on a blue background on my web page, the graphic appeared with a white background of its own.
Do making canvas color transparent really work in fireworks or how does it work?

First off, it needs to be a .gif file.
Secondly, when you go to "Export Preview", there is a box on the left that says "matte". You need to make sure this box has the color set to transparency, and also be sure to select index or alpha transparency from the drop down box.
