I use Project Seven's Popup Menu system and have recently added a Flash Album to a page. Unfortunately the Flash Album now hides a portion of the menu.I have added style="z-index: -99;" to the object, along with a range of other values and unfortunately it doesn't seem to want to know anything about the z-index variable.
Is there a way therefore of sending the Flash object to the back?
Many thanks.

Kind of strange replying to it myself, however for the sake of anyone else who is having similar problems with Flash I recommend the following links:

This must look great, however I'm now replying to my own reply. The only reason for doing so is to say that while I did apply the suggested solutions above to the Flash Object created by Flash Album Generator, and texted it in Firefox, it wasn't until I tried it with IE earlier today that I noticed that this soultion didn't work across all browsers. I have no ready means of testing it on the Mac.
Pretty frustrating I'd have to say. So much so that I've abandoned Flash Album Generator until a suitable fix becomes available. Admittedly this is a Flash problem, however I'd hoped there might be a solution ready at hand.

Hi John,
We are aware of this Flash limitation - it is actually a browser limitation that also applies to form fields as well. Form fields and flash content always come on top.
There are however some solutions available, specially for dhtml menus - that put the menu in a IFRAME which always gets on top.
So maybe you can pass this to Project Seven and let them adjust the popup menu so it has an Iframe "Shield" which will make it work fine when flash content and form fields are under neat.
Greetings,
George

Hi George
I feel somewhat caught between a rock and a hard place... the Project Seven people say it's a Flash issue.
I notice that further up the forum, Greg Kane has asked the same kind of question.
Cheers,
