how to apply CSS style to dynamic tables

hi,i want to create a CSS sytle to change dreamweaver's php dynamic tables.
this is an example of what im trying to do:

this screenshot is from a dynamic table, the background of each content row is diferent from the next, how can i do this effect?
can anyone help me?
