Hi Mary,
We try to make the Flash object tags as xhtml as possible, but unfortunately the standard object and embed tags that flash uses aren't 100% xxhtml compliant. This is unfortunately the case this days.
We are looking for solutions for this in the future versions but the solutions we found till now limit the presentation and integration of the slideshow in DW itself - so it is a bit a tricky problem.
