I purchased PLP to make a layer stuck to the bottom right of the browser's viewport like the demo with a 0/0 offset.

I need this to work in firefox and IE6.

If you view the demo with the current version of firefox you'll see that the layer is partly out of the viewport horizontally and vertically. It looks fine in IE though...

How can i fix this problem? BTW i need to keep the offsets at 0.

For this issue the information in the following FAQ is relevant: www.dmxzone.com/ShowDetail.asp?NewsId=4606

PLP has a built in correction of 16 pixels for the scrollbar in Mozilla based browsers, but it seems that in the newer version of Firefox the width of the vertical scrollbar is not 16px but rather 19px.
This causes a horizontal scrollbar in the demo, which makes the floating layer partly disappear behind the horizontal scrollbar.
If I were to fix this, then there would be an issue in other browsers.

Thanks for getting back to me so soon.

So the only work around is to add a 3px offset horizontally to compensate for the wider scrollbar in the new version of firefox?

No, that won't solve this.
I think I'm going to update the extension. I think it's more important that it "behaves" well in newer browsers than in older browsers.
The updated version will then use 19px as the scrollbar correction width, which will make a 3px wide "gap" in older versions of Mozilla based browsers. I don't see another option.

I agree. Modern browsers should have priority for this type of issue. The object is to have it look right on the majority of the browsers being used.

When should I expect the new version to be posted?

Again, thanks for being so responsive <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

That will probably be some time next week. I'm really up to my eyeballs in work this week.

Do you have an updated ETA on when this will be fixed?
