Hi,

I'm not able to create an album at all (have tried with a number of 'sites' in DW8).....

...in FW8, I get an error that says "Could not run the script. The command requires an active document."

...over in DW8, the error that pops says, "While executing timer in Flash Album Generator 2.htm, the following JavaScript error occurred:
At line 489 of file "C:\Programs\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Commands\Flash Album Generator 2.js":
TypeError:fileDate has no properties


....I downloaded Album Generator 2 a second time and reinstalled it to make sure there were no problems with the file, but the error is the same every time.

Am I screwing something up?

Never mind.....seems to have straightened out on its own.

About 30 mins after I posted the previous, everything started working and it's just fine.

And, wow!!! I'm loving it already!

I'm having the same problem now, have run for more than a year with no problems. I reinstalled the generator and repaired dmx 8 no luck .
Any suggestions?

the first Flash Album with DW MX 2004 works fine.

After using DW 8 and FAG2 the problems starts.
Then I installed DW 2004 with FAG again. Because that works before. Here I could not install the Extension.

<b>Message: invalid Extension.</b>

I lost one day for work, trying to fix these Problems.
And I must solve the problems. My customers wait for their website!!!

At last I' have installed DW 8 und FAG and FAG2 again.

Again it does not wor correctly (some pictures were missing) and a new arror....

Hallo Mr. Petrov,
as Creator of these Extension, I ask you to look at this forum. There are many who has this Problems to. Would you offer please a solution?
Otherwise one cannot buy extension in future.

I'm getting the same problem, I use the extensions a couple times a year and had never problems generating albums.
Now I have to add additional albums to a client website, and I get this same javascript error when generating an album.

I hope we'll get a solution soon!

I have exactly the same error messages both in DW and FW. I have tried everything now, installed the extension again and it works just fine, it completes just fine. I go into DW (after rebooting it) and everything seems fine from the beginning until the very last file in FW, then the error message comes again.

I have no problem with installing the extension again - it works just fine!
I have been able to make an album a couple of times before this started.
What's wrong?

Try to delete the following file:
C:\Documents and Settings\&lt;your user&gt;\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
*-means letters and numbers (for example 8D991465).
Then restart the Dreamweaver.
