I noticed in the General forum that someone had requested the ability to hide the preloader bar. George said he would consider it for the future - but I couldn't see anything in this Request Features forum about it.

Any update on this as I would also like to be able to do the same?

Although 4 years later, I second the request. If you use the Active SlideShow as a header for all pages on a site, it is annoying to show the preloader when navigating from one page to annother.
