I have a strange problem and am not sure where to look for a solution. For some reason my Dreamweaver 8 has stopped saving the FTP login and password details.

Every time I start Dreamweaver and try to upload a changed file I get the standar error message that tells me there was a problem. When I go to "Manage Sites" and loon at the FTP Login and Password boxes, they are empty,even though I always keep the "save" box ticked.

Please could someone point me in the right direction?

I am using Windows XP SP2, the new IE7 and the normal range of firewall and anti-virus programs.

Doh!! I must have missed the other post that relates to this problem.

So, for anyone having the same problem run the 8.02 updater for DMX on their site. The problem is due to IE7 and the DMX update fixes this.
