Hello George,I am a web designer and successfully use Active Slideshow Pro on a few of my websites. I think it's a wonderful program. However, recently a potential new client viewed my portfolio website on his computer (which uses Active Slideshow Pro on the homepage) and was met with an empty screen. Obviously, the client was not impressed and I didn't get the contract.
I have read about using a detection script through Dreamweaver and Flash 8 to provide an alternate (non-Flash) page for visitors without a Flash Player on their computers. However, I really can't begin to guess how to implement this script from within the Active Slideshow Pro interface.
Can you please provide a simple explanation of how to provide an alternate path to a page without Flash for those who do not have Flash players installed.
Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Cheryl,
Thanks so much for your reply - your instructions were very clear and I think it did the trick! I actually hadn't noticed that behaviour before in Dreamweaver (I also use Dreamweaver 8.0.2)
By any chance, do you (or anyone else) know of a site that tests your own website without a Flash Player - something like browsershots.org/ does for different screen resolutions? It's difficult to really tell if I've got it right as my own computer (and everyone else's that I know) has the Flash player installed.
Thanks again for your help,
Linda
