A whole lot of things do not work with this program.
1. I have complaints that the windows do not open. Works OK on my computer but not on others.
2. When you link to a page in the website say a form it works once. If you change the size of the layer to fit the form the close graphic “X” is no long vissible.
3. When you link to photos it works on the local computer, but when up loaded you get a 404. If you click the back button the photo appears as it should do over the page.
Strangely enough the slide show works.
I rate this as probably the worst software I have ever bought.
I have not posted a rating yet as I would like to hear your comments first.
I am prepared to hear that I am wrong. I have removed all pages that us this program from the web and replaced them with light box or other methods.

Well I need a bit info about this - did you make sure you have uploaded all the needed files to your live web site?

Could you please supply more info on this - maybe a sample link?

You definately have some files missing on your website. make sure you have the latest version and upload all the files.

Well I'm sure this is not the case and it is indeed something very easy - as the program is well testen and used already in many many sites. You can also see it working in our online demos.

George

I hope I am wrong. I have just spent two days removing all the pages that use this extension so I was a annoyed earlier.
First, all the files were up loaded . That was my first stop.
I did check the code on the problem sites and found that some times one or more of the links to the css had loaded twice?
It worked always once and then after a resize the close “X” was gone. So the files were there.
As far as I can see all the links to the css and Java call outs were intact.
I removed all the examples of this and re-did them with other methods used Light box for slide shows etc.
I had used this on three sites and all had problems.
Most of them worked with preview (F12).at first, then problems started as the site grew for no reason I could find. Others appeared on the uploaded site.
I admit my CSS files becomes very sloppy as the site develops.

I felt a bit bad after writing this and decided to make as test.
I produced a site, only on my computer so far, with almost no styling and just one div.
Some of the problems went away so it may be me.
I am trying to find out which browser and system the customer used who complained. I will let you know.
The background colour I forgot to mention still shows in stripes in opera 9.10 in the pop up when scrolled. I just did a quick pop up form as a test. Set the background to red and the form background to white and got red stripes.

As you were good enough to answer in a civil manner to my abrupt posting I will continue to try out different set ups until the other problems re appear.
As soon as I get there I will up load to a test domain.
Sorry but I could not leave the problem sites on line.

The first drafts of ww.san-shine-camp.de is on-line, so you can see how the pop ups were used. It still has bugs and incomplete links. The .com (English is also up for test) but your extension has been removed from both.
The web had to match the flyers, this gave a space problem so pop ups were ideal.

I promised I would look more into this and I have.
I hit the problems when I added the pop ups to an existing site.
I have produced a test site wtas-on.de/test/index.html.
I used advanced layer pop up from the word go and added features expecting it to stop working.
But it worked fine.
So this is not a terrible program sorry. I can not understand the original problem though.
I did hit some snags again.
Try the link Produkte (sorry its all in German) / Fenster/ in the test site. Then the link under the photo “kunststoff”
If the screen is less than 600 px high the header is not visible and the visitor is stuck. This happens when ever the popup is longer than the screen hight.
I used a long pop up window as Opera leaves stripes of the background on a scrolled overflow.
Try Anfrage. The pop up slides in but very jerky.
During development the pop up set the close after to 0 seconds and the pop up disappeared before it was fully open. Deleting this in the set up window solves the problem, but it reoccurs later?
I see references to version 1.04 can I get this? I have 1.03.
