I am new to this forum and fairly new to trying to design a web site. I have a site at :www.armstrongsstamps.ca
The site is designed using DW MX 6.0. using MAC G5 OS 10.4.8. I have only been able to get 2 pages from the site indexed in any search engine and I figure it is because of the way the site is designed.
Any feedback from those who do this all the time would be greatly appreciated. I am not a professional programmer and am not employed in the IT field, although I have been told I'm a quick study with computers and software. I don't have anyone to bounce ideas off, so I appreciate any comments, suggestions or criticisms.

HI
this is written as helpful not critical so please don't be offended <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
there are lots of tags that are not properly closed, like your <head> doesn't have a corresponding </head> plus proprietory tags. I'm surprised to see that when you're using DW.
go here validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.armstrongsstamps.ca%2F
check out what the validator has to say about your page. Your CSS will not validate because of other errors.
On the overall design, can you get rid of that 'enter' ? IMHO it makes the page look like a 'gateway or hook' page.
Good luck

No offense taken.........but comments greatly appreciated. After the pages were set up under DW, I started to fiddle with things like adding searches, meta info etc and most likely trashed the closing tags. I will take a look at the url provided and see if I can clean things up.
Also, I am not a big fan of the index page "ENTER" as it is now, but I was trying to figure out if it made any difference in the indexing of a page without any tables included, and the page just sort of remained. I will definitely re-evaluate the look of my index page and try somthing new.
Thank you again for the comments.
