Hi,
I bought the extension last Friday, thinking that I could put a dropshadow on a div element, and nested divs. It does not work.

With this outdated extension, I may as well revert to designing with tables just so I can use the extension.

Can I have my money back?

Hi Jessica,

Smart CSS Shadows support dropshadow on a div element. About the nested divs at the official page of the extension is stated:

Note: Smart CSS Shadows is meant to be used on tables, block text, images (without alignment), form elements, flash movie objects and menu's. <b>Complex CSS designs and nested elements are not supported.</b>

I removed my container div so that the div I want the shadow on is not nested.
I called the dropshadow like this:

<pre id=code><font face=courier size=2 id=code>&lt;div class="dropshadow-bl" id="textbox"&gt; </font id=code></pre id=code>

What I get is the shadow displays INSIDE the textbox border, and not even for the entire length of the textbox. Whether I choose BR (bottom right) or BL (bottom left) the display of the shadow is still inside the border, and only from the bottom to halfway up the textbox.

If it does support div elements, how do I fix this? I don't want to post a link online because this is a development page and forums get indexed frequently.

I went to hack apart the css and look at the images. The reason the image only goes halfway up my text box is because that's how big the shadow image is and of course, it's set to no-repeat because a repeat of a corner would look awful. What I need is a stretchable shadow. Perhaps it can only go on the left and right sides and will be set to repeat vertically.

So even still, the extension isn't perfoming for me and it's caused me more lost time at work. Isn't there a refund option?
