Problems getting started

I just bought the extension, which downloaded and installed in DW CS3 (I thought). However, something isn't right. I have 2 problems. One is that I did validate the extension after installation ... however, I can't get rid of that validation box whenever I open DW. And if I try to do the validation again to get rid of it, it says my serial number is invalid.

My second problem is that it's not working right. I used it on this page (to test it out) ... I get images stacked on a page, as if the styles and javascript aren't associated with the page at all:

www.sitesbyrobin.com/morris/galleries/engagement/

I tried it again, same results:

www.sitesbyrobin.com/morris/testpage.htm

I followed the very simple instructions ... and yes, I uploaded ALL of the server files. The paths also appear correct. I'm stumped, and wonder if the 2 problems aren't related somehow?

Delete CSSShadow10_install.htm.mno and then at the installation wizard input again your license (Serial Number, username and password)

For more information about deleteing htm.mno file check the following FAQ:

If this does not help, try to reinstall (uninstall and install again) the extension from Extension Manager.

You have used space in Gallery Id and this is causing the issue. For example, the current Ids of your galleries are:
Engagement Photo Gallery
test gallery

But they should be:
<b>EngagementPhotoGallery</b> or <b>Engagement_Photo_Gallery</b>
<b>testgallery</b> or <b>test_gallery</b>

Hi George,

Duh, I should have noticed the issue with the gallery naming convention! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>

I also was able to delete the "offending" validation box. When I did that, though, the extension somehow became corrupted ... I reinstalled, re-validated, and this time the validation box didn't come back.

thank you SO much for your prompt solutions! I'm good now ... ready for the fun part (customizing the styles).

Hi Robin,

Do not worry. This not a problem.

Georgi is translated in English as George. For most of English speaking people Georgi sound strange and they prefer to call me George.

That is why, I get used to with both of the names and I have registered at the site as George but I kept my original name in the signature.

It could look confusing to use the both names, but the people could chose and use the one that make more sense for them
(I really do not mind calling me both Georgi and George).

Best regards,

Georgi Kralev
