Watermark, causings errors

I purchased v2 as an upgrade as I needed the Watermark function.

Having installed it, I am receiving an code error every time I set Watermark to be used, and can only make it work if the Watermark function is turned off, which means it was really a waste of upgrading, as v1 worked just as i needed.

I have uninstalled the extension, so can not recall the exact error, but it refers to a line which is the code for the Watermark, and as I say, it only errors when I set it to add a Watermark.

I would be grateful for a response on what could be causing this, or if I can just return this extension, as it really is a waste of £50 at the moment.

The site is hosted on a Windows 2003 ASP.Net package, I can not provide you a url, as it is a secure site, I will recreate a separate page, and provide a url for you to view the link error at least.

But I am concerned that it works fine, just not the watermark, and I have a spent £50 on a worthless extension(to me right now), and this is not the first time a dmxzone extension has required several updates to actually work, I am unfortunately a veteran of Pure Upload 3, and its mass of problems.

The error code given is

Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a03ea'

Syntax error

/ScriptLibrary/incSIP2Class.asp, line 1700

And it only appears when I use an Image, if I use Text as the Watermark, it works fine.

The Image being used is a PNG

Hi Carl,

Try to replace "0x000000" with "#000000"
For example:

sip1.FontColor = "#000000"

and

sip1.AddWatermark "../images/logo.png", "Bottom-Right", true, "#000000", "50>
