Afternoon everyone,I have been reading about this great looking plug in for flash and have just purchased it.
I have tried in both Flash 8 and in Flash CS3 and I get teh following error:
After placing the component on the stage I select it and then go to COMMANDS > EDIT 3D Image Flow XML to add my pictures
I get an alert box stating: While executing in MyFlashFile, a JavaScript error occurred
This error message appears whenever I try to add an image, and also when I try to export.
The result is no xml, and no pictures flipping across the screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Do you have Mac OS or Windows and do you have administrator rights on your computer? It seems to give an error on any action that tries to access the drive.
Are you able to select any files and add them to the list in the popup or is this imposible due to the error?

Sorry I should have made it clear,
I am on Win XP SP2, full admin rights, working from a folder on my desktop.
I cannot add a complete folder, but I am able to select individual images to add, and then I can add image descriptions and links if necessary.
I then go to click on OK and I get the same error once more.

I have taken your suggestion on board and have moved my files to a network drive.
I re-opened my FLA and tried again and it works OK now without any JS error message.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask or not, but is this component customisable so that I can control the 'forward and backward' rotation of images from buttons externally on the stage?
Many thanks for you time and effort into solving my problem
regards
Darren

You can control a lot of the gallery using ActionScript, see the reference at www.flzone.com/go?14898. www.flzone.com/showDetail.asp?NewsId=14898&LinkFile=gallerynext().htm shows an example for a next button.

Thanks Patrick, Ive had my head stuck in the reference this morning and near enough achieved what I need.
Im a bit of an actionscript novice really but have managed controlling the slideshow thru forward and back buttons.
I do need to do something a little more with this in the near future so may have to bug you guys a little more as I cant find what I need to do in the reference.
Your help has been very much appreciated, thank you
