This estension is cool, but the only way I can use it is if I could garantee the width. at present when one mouses over, the entire area increases in width. It would be nice if only the icon that is moused over increased in size and the others were regulated to the point where they didnt encrease the overall width of the menu.

Well, yes, that is something that will be good to have. But in order to have more dynamicaly looking efects we just can't give it exact width. So, one must consider the possible max width and place menu by it.
