I want to purchase Advanced Tooltips because it seems to work well with positioning relative to an image map area, not just the mouse pointer.

However, in the "space" demo when you mouse over the bottom right imagemap area the tool tip appears but only dissapears if your move the mouse over the tooltip before moving off the tooltip. If you just move over the top of the imagemap area, so that the tool tip appears, and then move away from the imagemap area WITHOUT mousing over the actual tooltip, it does not disappear.

It works ok in firefox, safari & chrome.

Can anyone in support or anyone who has already bought this extension confirm if this can be worked around so that I can buy it? Perhaps without using fades or delays?

Hi Mark,

That is browser related problem which is inflicted in that case by MAP tag in which mouseout event is not always triggered. What you can do is to set tooltip to never close and to be dismissed by the Close button or by triggering other tooltip instance, or to close on click outside of the element from which it is triggered.
