After all my criticism, which was unfairly deleted by your administrators that progress bar was promised, but not working on Opera for 2 years now, I have to say thank you and finally your new 3.0.11 does "enhance" Opera progress bar so it works on Opera for the first time.

See, it could be done. 2 years late, but thank you anyways. Sorry I bugged about it but we have 25% Opera uploaders :-/

Hope this post will not dissapear.

You are welcome Jerry <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

It is not perfect solutions as we would like but at least it works now fine in Opera indeed.

You might also want to check the mySQL improvements in the Ajax DataGrid.

We do take notes from your comments.

Greetings,
George

Yes I know I am a pain in the ass but I do help improve your software with my comments <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

I am not sure why it is not a good solution. It works nicely, but I think I know what you mean. You wanted the layer popup not the new window popup. Well, if popups is not disabled it works just fine, much better than before. I wonder why you can not use layers, some professional extensions that I have (highslide) use layer for picture expanding and html expanding and Opera works normally. If you tell me on PM where the problem is I can go bug Opera people also to fix <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> I bugged them to fix the problem with HTML editors and they've made a fix (I think your HTML editor is not Opera compatible though).

I did look at the Grid. Nicely done I checked the source. You used count, that made it 10 times faster than move through records. Very nicely done. I haven't used it yet since last time but I see a lot of improvements. Still waiting for the #anchor change so the URL can be put to favourites <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Problem is that Opera seems can not execute two threads on the same page. So it can not do an upload and in the same time run a flash movie or other dynamic content in a inline layer ... That is why when upload starts it just block the current page and nothing on it gets executed...

The only solution is like now to have the progress in a separate real popup window that can run simultaneously, but it can be indeed blocked.

Greetings,
George

May I know what's new in 3.0.12? Has there been any work on Unicode and IIS 7/6 differences?

Yes, I seem to bee too fast. Pure luck, I look at your page once in a few days and wait for the announcements...

I'll have to test your claim about Fixed unicode <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> hehe...

Is the color problem in CS4 the problem that I was having black background on popup all the time? I didn't know how to fix it so I copied the files from a CS3 made site and it went away. Was that the problem?

Yes indeed - you can reset bad colors by choosing another progressbar and then switch back to the one you want - then on save everything should be fine.

Seems in CS4 they fixed quite a lot DW bugs and now we have to remove our bypasses <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

I'll test tommorow and let you know how it went, I need a few hours to be thorough on every system <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> Today I have no time for such adventure <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

George, just a quickie... Why don't you include your function Util.pau_RemoveInvalidChars into PUA3? I found it somewhere on your forum and I have to add it every time to the new code. The function removes , and other characters that obviously break the code if user has made an upload with such filename that contains such characters. I see no reason why it is not included in PUA3. As I read this was included in PUA2.
