After attempting to add Pure Asp Upload 3 to a page that did not contain < HTML > < HEAD > or < BODY > tags, I received the error "while executing applyServerBehavior in Pure AsP Upload 3.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.

I'm not so concerned that the code would not insert itself under those circumstances, but a descriptive error message may help in that situation.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Thank you for your prompt note on that matter. I'll pass this to our developer team so they can include a check and descriptive error message so it can help users.

Hi Steven,

Do you have your HTML HEAD and BODY tags removed as well?

I am experiencing the same problem... "while executing applyServerBehavior in Pure AsP Upload 3.htm, a JavaScript error occurred", but I have HTML/HEAD/BODY tags in place...

I have tried the usual advice of clearing cache, reinstalling etc. No joy...

Any suggestions?

Cheers
Graeme

I was having the issue with SmartMailer and another post suggested making sure the form had a 'name=' tag. Once I did that, the error no longer occurred.

Hello Graeme, SAM,

Yes - the form needs to have name attribute.
