Layers of text moving in Browser

HelloI´m working with dreamweaver 8 and designing a web page, everything fine just a problem with the layers nd the text inside of them, I have to put the layers very close from each other because when I try them in my browser for example safari or firefox everything is in good position but if I try the website in Internet Explorer evrything is not aligned.
Help please!

This alignment problems could be caused by the layer's position property value. By default, the position will be absolute. As a result, the layer position will get the co-ordinates from the available space on the screen.

You might also need a IE CSS hack to use different CSS when viewed in IE.
