PHP Upload adds an extra slash to path

I am using Pure PHP upload and when I use the stored path to create a link to the doc I get the following www.mysite.com//folder/file.exthow can I remove the extra / ?

You might have a look at the included in your ScriptLibrary named incPU3.js, incPU3Class.asp or incPU3Utils.asp.
