Has there been any development on a new release? I would really love to see a fullscreen option and on the dream list is a gallery from within the show with a pause/play/stop control. If there hasn't is there a posibility for a custom solution? Please contact me if so.

Our developers are working on the next update of the slideshow, your suggestions are in the wishlist and may be they will be available in the next major update. Although the exact date this will be released is still unclear.
You will be notified by mail as soon as the new version is available
