If I have a dropdown menu where I have one of the items within the dropdown as default (Selected). And if I set this field as required then if I don't choose something from that dropdown or do choose something the validation still thinks it is blank and will not let me continue with submitting the form. Is there an option that in which I can set dropdowns to require that anything except the first value is required? Or how can I get around this?
