1. I would also like to know if these menus are 100% CSS or if they use javascript or other scripting?
2. Will HTML/CSS validate at the W3C?

Yes all our extensions work on DW Mac as well.

As for the other questions:

1. The menu uses javascript for some of the display effects. However as it is fully CSS based - it works fine even if the javascript is turned off.

2. yes the generated code it is fully W3C validated
