Hello, I am on a Mac G5 using Dreamweaver MX 2004 I have been using it fine for years now. However the other day I click to connect and it gives me "An FTP error occurred - cannot make connection to host. The server is not responding. Please check your connection information".

Nothing has changed on my computer, nothing has changed on the server. I figure maybe its one of those files (eg. prefs) maybe got corrupt and needs to be removed and restart. I did that and it did not work.

I have done lots of work on this, and I have determined it is not the connection information, because I can connect using other FTP access programs with the information. (Fetch) and others using Dreamweaver can connect using the information.

Something has messed up within my dreamweaver, is there some other connection file that needs to be removed and restarted? I dont want to have to reinstall the program, I have no idea how to uninstall the one thats on here.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you
