We have been running asp Smart mailer successfully for 5 years but have just upgraded and moved our server (2008 R2 64 bit) and notice that the template are no longer loading. in the error it appears that smart mailer is ignoring root relative links (/email/template.asp) and treating them as document relative links and so throwing a 404 not found error.

Is this a known issue for older versions of smartmailer asp or am I missing something?
