Hi George, Waldo, Ferdi, and all UDZone Members,

I was just reading the Forum Guidelines posted on July 27, 2001 in the Zone FAQs section of UDZone and can see the wisdom in all of the guidelines that are listed. Additionally, while reading the guidelines, I came up with an idea regarding the forum guidelines imperative to search the other three sites first:

"Be sure to search groups.google.com, www.AskHiran.com and www.macromedia.com/support before posting a question."

Here's the idea:
What if UD Zone hosted a "Super Search" feature that searched not only the three Dreamweaver/UD sites listed above, but also any other Dreamweaver/Ultra Dev sites that the Zones are aware of that answer questions, feature tutorials, or provide extensions, etc.
I remember reading somewhere that a site search can be set up to search multiple preset URLs at once and return the results.
The search could be featured prominently (along with the other forum guidelines) so no one misses it (or the forum guidelines) when visiting the forums. Thus, not only does UD Zone help solve the UD Zone Member/Visitor's questions or problems, but does it in a way that condenses what could require multiple time-involving searches into one "Super Search"! <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

This is very good idea Jean-Marie!

But we always have to deal with legal issues and permissions ...

And have to make agreements about the search replies from the other sites ...

So a lot of work to do
