but it needs to be able to also select a value field as well as a display field
ie: the record ID

Exact that is, why I dont buy that extension. I need to have the name to display and a diffrent Value like Recordset/dataset ID.

This extension is not a great deal of use without the ability to save a record ID.

I think this should be a must have feature not a sometime whenever!

Disappointed from Tunbridge Wells

Hi,

Just bought this extension and am pretty frustrated that it doesn't include the basic functionality of a dynamic select in DW. It really should replace the dynamic drop-down in terms of functionality.

I looked into the jquery auto-complete UI component and can't seem to get it to work, but someone at DMXZone should certainly be able to incorporate the dynamic aspect into this extension and allow the user to select the recordset column to submit and which to show.

Anyway, I'm sure this is planned in an updated version. Does anyone have any idea when this might happen? I've got several projects in the works that would really be better off with a good auto-complete.....I'd love it to be this one as it's pretty easy to setup and like all the DMX extensions, will be worth it's weight in contracts when it's updated!

I just bought this extension and did not realize I could not include a record ID number - although the list looks nice it is basically useless to me - how do you identify the correct record in the list without it.

I see it's been a 2 year plus requested feature and it doesn't look like it will be added soon so how can I get a refund on this since I can't use it
