In the Sliding Panels extension the vertical scrollbar (script generated) only appears when the oversized page is slid vertically then once the drag (by finger or mouse) is released it disappears again, surely if the content demands it the scrollbar should be there all the time right?

How can I make it visible when required?

The scrollbar in Sliding Panels appear only when the page is dragged up/down. This behavior copies the drag behavior on the iDevices(iPad, iPhone .. etc.)
The scrollbar can not be set to "show always"
