I have HTML 5 video player. I used Miro, as directed, to convert vidfeo for Firefox, but the video player refuses to play in it in Firefox. I submitted support request twice but it's just been ignored by DMXZone. Does anyone else know of why this might be and how I might resolve the issue. Otherwise the extension is a waste of money....

Hello Russel.

Can you provide us with link to the page in your question?
Also check out Compatibility Chart in page 34 from the manual
HTML5 Video Player Manual

Can you tell us which version of Firefox you are using also?

Note also the following:
Quote
the web server should be configured to serve mp4, ogg and webm mime types.

There are some guides for this:

For IIS:
www.ehow.com/how_5855358_add-mime-types-iis.html

For Apache:
bignosebird.com/apache/a1.shtml

Just make sure you add all 3 mime types:

.mp4 - video/mp4
.ogg - video/ogv
.webm - video/webm

Hi, if you still have this problem then just try a different converter. Personally 3GPP converter helps me, just don't make a mistake with the format you want to convert to, otherwise your problem won't go away
