Can I control the automatic synchronisation of HTML 5 video so that I can place the folders where I want in my web site. So far I have left it to automate and on the web the videos do not show. I have tried moving the folders/files manually and ensure no broken links but still the video do not display. Has anyone had this problem before? How did they fix it?

Hi!
The link is www.meridianclinic.co.uk/moc-video.html

This is a test page and all three videos have previously displayed correctly and only since using HTML 5 Video they are not visible.
I am not sure if there is an issue with the automatic synchronisation, the scriptlibary and styles folders are inserted out of the domain name folder and links are broken.
I manually changed the folders into the domain folder, re established links but video does not display.
Wait to hear from you if you can help explain why this is happening.
Best wishes
Mike

Hello,

Please first define properly your root folder in Dreamweaver.
As the scriptlibary and styles folders are inserted out of the domain name folder - that means you root folder is not your domain folder.

then make sure to use the put button - to upload all the files.

Thanks for reply and sorry for delay in getting back.
I have tried the HTML5 Video and it automates the process and box displays to confirm 'Put' files. I have done this and used put button and I appreciate the scriptlibrary and styles folders are out of the domain but still the links when the page is viewed on the web does not display the video.

In the example web page link I manually linked files to the page from the domain name folder, I did this because using the automatic way and put button, on viewing the page source did not display the scriptlibrary files, (displays 404 page not found).

I admit I have played around with folder locations but I could only view the scriptlibrary files from the page source if the folder was on the domain name folder. I ensured the links where not broken on the local folder before'put' to remote. I cannot veriy the video link in the script, so hat may be where there is a problem.

I originally wanted to use the HTML5 Video on another website, www.doctorfishpedicure.co.uk/video/doctor-fish-video.html. Unfortunately this just did not work. I have a .jpg file of the local/remote files/folder setup from this website should you wish to view, I am not sure how to send the image to you.

Many thanks Mike
