Using AHE3, there is no method to grab the innerHTML the user has entered using javascript. Please, include this functionality in the in the next release.

I would like to use the code entered in the AHE3 instance to generate a preview of the page the end user has created before making changes to the database.

Hello Ben,

Isn't the HTML Editor field enough to preview the result? For example you can switch to Full Window and see the result.

No. Even using the page editor on the pages, you don't get an exact picture of how the page looks after you make changes. The changes made are while the AHE3 space is taken and the look will change when the AHE3 "chrome" isn't there.

It is easier to build a preview page. For instance, on a bio page, I have a photo which can be configured to use the HTML5 Image enhancer, then there is a possible twitter feed using the twitter widget, an optional Facebook comment section and an optional Facebook Like/Send button. In the midst of all this, there is space for the bio. It is easier to generate a preview page to show how the bio text entered fits in with the options selected.

So, I really need the functionality in this case...
