Depending on the type of editing that I need to do, I sometimes want to keep the admin portion of the site in a separate directory underneath the main site. However, there are times when I use the image manager/file manager... and am editing pages "one level up"What happens is the relative url is always something like ../folder/filename.jpg
and stored in the database as such.
Now, when I am one level down, it works fine... but any further than that... it causes problems.
Is there any way of using the HTML5 editor in a subdirectory and have it resolve URL's properly?
One solution would be to use absolute URL's in the HTML5 editor... but that does not work at all. Even if I go into the HTML editor and type the absolute URL... it somehow changes it to the relative after saving.

Hello Chuck,
The Adv. HTML Editor 3 has an optional link handling.
In the Formatting options in General tab of the UI there is a select where you can choose how links should be handled - as Relative, as Absolute or as Full.
Check if this will resolve your problem.
Regards.
