Hello Gary,
Did you get the Extension Manager CS5 Update for Mac OS Mountain Lion? Adobe had released a special update for that Mac OS version. If you haven't got this update please go to www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em50_download.html and download the latest version of the EM.
