PPU v.2.1.10 Not inserting correct file extension

The filename is inserted into my DB correctly, apart from the suffix which is set to .jpg, not .png as it should be.Anyone know how to fix? Angry client waiting.

Can to explain what you figured out? I can't remember specifically, but I think I had this same problem before and never figured it out.
