I am pissed, since Drumbeat, UltraDev and Dreamweaver I have spent hundreds of dolloars, and Now with MX 2004 there is no improvment that I can say WOW, $400 dolloars for what? just a nice looking interface, NO Extension improvments, NO Real support for ASP tags, another word bull***, I am not going to pay for this update even if I have to stay with DWMX for another year or so, and then I may look for another environment! This is a robbery?. Ha $400 dollars PLEASEssss wake me up

I agree with Warren - All the people complaining can continue to use Dreamweaver 2 if they would like. If they don't feel that the newer version is worth upgrading, then they don't have to upgrade.

To me, the value added in the new Studio is well worth the upgrade, and I am happy to pay that amount for a software suite that allows me to earn much more than $400 in earnings from the items I build with it. If you run a web design business like I do, then paying for software is part of life - I would assume that all these people complaining about the dollar amounts are hobbyists who should realize you will pay professional dollar amounts for professional equipment (even though I think the amounts MM charges for their software is very reasonable). If these people want cheap HTML tools, their are plenty of free and low cost alternatives out there.

Macromedia software is the best out there - and since the new CSS & FTP improvements I have no complaints.

Just my 2 cents... <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
