Since: 17 Apr 2002 Posts: 2 | Posted 22 Sep 2003 19:37:38 I purchased the Studio MX 2004 upgrade. I am still playing around with it but so far I am pleased with the new features - especially the improved CSS in DW & improvements to FW. I haven't had the time to work with Flash MX 2004 yet.
My only complaints so far: 1. DW & FW take longer to open up. Not sure if that is my PC or the program. My PC operates with Windows XP home and is a Pentium 4 with 512 MB RAM at 2.26 ghz.
2. I purchased the DevNet Professional upgrade so I could have the latest release of Studio MX 2004. I made the purchase before MX 2004 was available to the public with my understanding from the MM site that the upgrade was available to devnet pro subscribers immediately. I would have waited until the upgrade was released before making the purchase. I feel like the site was misleading and should have clearly stated that the product had not been released yet.
3. The price: it is a bit steep. I am hoping the additional features will help me make up the price by saving me time....
I am still a huge fan of Macromedia products & will continue to use them as my primary tools.
