Create a recordset using the IN or the OR operator
MM forgot to implement the use of the standard SQL statements using the IN and the OR operator. Handy if you want to select, delete or update records filtered by the result of a multiple select box or dynamically generated checkboxes. Right now everyone is slaving on this. There is the multiple delete extension which relies on fiddling around with the commands-palette. The commands palette is OK if you want to delete or update records. Allthough it is not the most userfriendly of options in DMX. But for some reason Macromedia keeps forgetting that besides dleting and updating multiple records, people also want to select records. multiple update of records
Hi,
I'm using Dreamweaver MX to build a video rental software. Everything is working
nicely except for my stock control. I have a recordset that pulls out the
individual items for a rent. I need to then calculate how much stock is
left and then update my database accordingly.
Also if I wanr to change the mass price of items placed in inventory i can't update the price column.
Can anyone tell how to update multiple records. I'm using ASP/VB/Access.
